Summer Youth

Harrisburg Students (incoming 7-12), Grads, and College Age.
We are mixing things up this summer! We are moving away from our traditional summer staff model to offer a variety of ways for you to lead, serve, and grow at HCC. Whether you are looking for a paid internship or just want to join us for the fun stuff, we have a spot for you.
Please check the roles that interest you:

    The Summer Intern (Paid Staff)
  • Pay: $150/week.
  • Schedule: Sundays (8:40 AM-12 PM) & Mondays (12:30 PM-5:30 PM). Dates:
    5/31-7/27
  • VBS: Required attendance (7/26-7/30 evenings).
  • Role: Teaching or assisting Sunday School/Children's Church, leading Monday activities, VBS skits/teaching, and weekly ministry training.
  • Availability: We are assuming that you may not be available for every date listed. We are willing to be flexible and can discuss more in person

  The Ministry Apprentice (Volunteer)
• Role: Do you want the leadership experience of the Intern role but missed the paid slot?
This track offers the same training and high-level ministry involvement as the Interns on a volunteer basis.


  The Summer Serve Team (Flexible)
• Role: You are committed to helping with VBS (7/26-7/30) and are willing to step in as a substitute for other activities when your schedule allows. Perfect for those with busy jobs who still want to serve


  The Student Track (Participation)
• Role: You want to focus on connection and spiritual growth. Sign me up for updates on the Colorado Trip (June), Bible studies, and Youth Group events.


  Pass for Now
• Role: I'm not interested this summer, but please keep me in the loop for next year!
