Building and Grounds
Building and Grounds Committee is just that; we are responsible for the operation and upkeep of the building and grounds. We take care of things from insurance to light bulbs. We keep the calendar for use of the building and also use of any equipment.

Library
We are responsible for maintaining and keeping up-to-date the resources in the HCC library. This includes books, video/DVDs, tapes, and music; HOWEVER, we have not yet gotten space for the video/DVDs or the CDs so this is still a work in progress.
The library committee also works with the pastor on sermon preparation. We review and send on to him articles, comments, stories, etc. that support and augment his sermon topics. Patty Beringer (Chair)

Communications
The Communications Committee is made up of 18 active people and we are responsible for various forms of communications to our members and community. We are divided into our monthly newsletter, "The Beacon", weekly worship bulletin, website, yard sign, reporter, photographer and Membership Manuals. Our current goal is to make the website a "key" communications area where people will regularly look for events and needed information as well as read The Beacon online.

Youth/Scholarship
The HCC youth group is for students in grades 7 - 12 and is open to all youth in the community. The group meets at a former garage and is called "Christ's Body Shop" (CBS). CBS usually meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Hang out time is a half hour before and after the meeting. Check it out, it's a great time for fun, friends and spiritual growth.
